Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Agriculture & Food and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180), which rose 9.62% or 2.50 points to trade at 28.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) added 9.30% or 1.20 points to end at 14.10 and Methanol Chemicals Company (SE:2001) was up 8.53% or 0.55 points to 7.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which fell 7.81% or 2.50 points to trade at 29.50 at the close. Savola Group (SE:2050) declined 5.70% or 2.40 points to end at 39.70 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) was down 5.66% or 1.20 points to 20.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 80 to 67 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.21% or 0.94 to $41.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.02% or 0.89 to hit $43.14 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.06% or 0.80 to trade at $1255.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.06% to 4.2622, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 94.06.
