At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 lost 2.07%.

Martins SGPS (LS:JMT) fell 0.07% or 0.0100 points to end at 14.4700 and Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) was down 0.66% or 0.0040 points to 0.5990 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mota Engil (LS:MOTA), which fell 4.66% or 0.0880 points to trade at 1.8010 at the close. Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP) declined 3.38% or 0.0012 points to end at 0.0343 and EDP (LS:EDP) was down 3.24% or 0.1000 points to 2.9830.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 41 to 6 and 6 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for June delivery was up 0.03% or 0.01 to $37.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $35.70 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.89% or 10.90 to trade at $1230.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.06% to 1.1397, while EUR/GBP rose 0.83% to 0.8048.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 94.56.
