Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Pharmaceutical Industry and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were CDM (CS:CDM), which rose 5.99% or 25 points to trade at 435 at the close. Meanwhile, CTM (CS:CTM) added 5.97% or 31.00 points to end at 550.00 and Hps (CS:HPS) was up 3.59% or 18.90 points to 545.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI), which fell 5.95% or 92 points to trade at 1453 at the close. Lydec (CS:LYD) declined 5.71% or 30.00 points to end at 495.00 and Cartier Saada (CS:CRS) was down 5.26% or 1.00 points to 18.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 32 to 17 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.60% or 0.29 to $48.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.33% or 0.16 to hit $48.65 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.55 to trade at $1251.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.07% to 10.9100, while USD/MAD fell 0.01% to 9.7302.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 95.40.
