Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Electrical & Electronic equipment, Holding Companies and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.13% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Alliances (CS:ADI), which rose 9.98% or 7 points to trade at 72 at the close. Meanwhile, Eqdom (CS:EQDM) added 5.97% or 57 points to end at 1012 and Nexans Maroc (CS:NEX) was up 5.26% or 7.50 points to 150.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which fell 9.98% or 11.45 points to trade at 103.30 at the close. Involys (CS:INV) declined 9.96% or 11.55 points to end at 104.45 and Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) was down 5.97% or 8.75 points to 137.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 26 to 24 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Involys (CS:INV) fell to all time lows; down 9.96% or 11.55 to 104.45.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.54% or 0.26 to $48.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.44% or 0.22 to hit $50.03 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.39% or 5.15 to trade at $1320.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.06% to 10.9120, while USD/MAD fell 0.03% to 9.7180.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.01% at 95.44.
