Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Beverage and Mining sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO), which rose 9.19% or 101 points to trade at 1200 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) added 7.70% or 6.90 points to end at 96.50 and SMI (CS:SMI) was up 5.47% or 145 points to 2795 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sonasid (CS:SOND), which fell 6.22% or 20 points to trade at 300 at the close. Med Paper (CS:PAP) declined 4.93% or 0.96 points to end at 18.53 and M2M Group (CS:M2M) was down 3.90% or 11.70 points to 288.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 14 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.69% or 0.35 to $50.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.71% or 0.37 to hit $51.66 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1256.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.07% to 10.8230, while USD/MAD rose 0.36% to 9.8450.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.35% at 97.87.
