Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Holding Companies, Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS:AGMA), which rose 6.96% or 158 points to trade at 2428 at the close. Meanwhile, Unimer (CS:UMR) added 5.97% or 9.30 points to end at 164.85 and Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO) was up 5.96% or 75 points to 1332 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which fell 5.99% or 1.13 points to trade at 17.72 at the close. BMCI (CS:BMCI) declined 5.37% or 33 points to end at 581 and Maghrebail (CS:MAB) was down 4.86% or 34 points to 665.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 18 to 18 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.79% or 0.33 to $41.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.19% or 0.08 to hit $43.18 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1234.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.12% to 10.9500, while USD/MAD fell 0.46% to 9.6447.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.33% at 94.37.
