Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financial Services and Consumer Staples sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Mexico, the IPC added 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the IPC were Industrias Penoles Sab De CV (MX:PENOLES), which rose 4.99% or 15.090 points to trade at 317.710 at the close. Meanwhile, Genomma Lab Internacional SAB De CV (MX:LABB) added 4.88% or 0.860 points to end at 18.490 and Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:BIMBOA) was up 4.41% or 2.410 points to 57.020 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ohl Mexico, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:OHLMEX), which fell 5.97% or 1.410 points to trade at 22.200 at the close. Telesites SAB de CV (MX:SITESL) declined 2.13% or 0.260 points to end at 11.920 and Mexichem , S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:MEXCHEM) was down 2.12% or 0.870 points to 40.190.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 82 to 77 and 7 ended unchanged.

Gold for June delivery was up 0.46% or 5.80 to $1280.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 1.99% or 0.95 to hit $48.67 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 1.25% or 0.61 to trade at $49.58 a barrel.
USD/MXN was down 0.14% to 18.2820, while EUR/MXN fell 0.18% to 20.6864.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 94.53.
