Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Communication, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Migdal Insurance (TA:MGDL), which rose 1.66% or 7.5 points to trade at 459.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice (TA:NICE) added 1.60% or 410 points to end at 26050 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 1.04% or 1200 points to 116300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which fell 2.68% or 420 points to trade at 15260 at the close. Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) declined 2.27% or 15.4 points to end at 661.6 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was down 1.65% or 102 points to 6078.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 188 to 153 and 112 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nice (TA:NICE) rose to all time highs; up 1.60% or 410 to 26050.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.71% or 1.03 to $61.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.43% or 0.93 to hit $65.81 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.85% or 10.00 to trade at $1187.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.09% to 3.8215, while EUR/ILS rose 0.09% to 4.3182.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.49% at 94.69.
