Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.11% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 1.75% or 28 points to trade at 1625 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TA:MLSR) added 1.54% or 250 points to end at 16480 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 1.37% or 1500 points to 111000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which fell 2.37% or 360.00 points to trade at 14820.00 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TA:KEN) declined 1.62% or 127.00 points to end at 7697.00 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was down 1.34% or 210 points to 15450.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 221 to 102 and 127 ended unchanged.
Shares in Melisron (TA:MLSR) rose to all time highs; rising 1.54% or 250 to 16480.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.90% or 0.94 to $50.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.15% or 1.18 to hit $56.13 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.38% or 16.60 to trade at $1217.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.08% to 3.9223, while EUR/ILS rose 0.24% to 4.3106.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.00% at 96.85.
