Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V), which rose 1.92% or 0.160 points to trade at 8.515 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 1.48% or 0.075 points to end at 5.140 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMAS) was up 0.83% or 0.31 points to 37.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV), which fell 2.06% or 0.96 points to trade at 45.62 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.74% or 0.0900 points to end at 5.0900 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was down 1.45% or 0.058 points to 3.942.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 93 to 85 and 16 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 1.44% or 0.71 to $48.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.09% or 0.51 to hit $46.47 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.60% or 7.95 to trade at $1319.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.37% to 1.1147, while EUR/GBP fell 0.20% to 0.8521.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.51% at 96.02.
