Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Sports, Leasing & Factoring and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 declined 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Turcas Petrol (IS:TRCAS), which rose 4.32% or 0.070 points to trade at 1.690 at the close. Meanwhile, Aselsan (IS:ASELS) added 3.91% or 0.57 points to end at 15.15 and Trakya Cam (IS:TRKCM) was up 3.34% or 0.100 points to 3.090 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hurriyet Gzt. (IS:HURGZ), which fell 9.09% or 0.070 points to trade at 0.700 at the close. Dogan Holding (IS:DOHOL) declined 7.79% or 0.060 points to end at 0.710 and Nurol Gmyo (IS:NUGYO) was down 6.10% or 0.280 points to 4.310.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 248 to 106 and 52 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.05% or 0.65 to $1258.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.20% or 0.65 to hit $53.40 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 1.08% or 0.61 to trade at $55.81 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.54% to 3.6277, while EUR/TRY rose 0.93% to 3.8566.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 100.81.
