Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Leasing & Factoring, Real Estate Investments and Holdings & Investments sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 added 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Ihlas Holding (IS:IHLAS), which rose 10.00% or 0.040 points to trade at 0.440 at the close. Meanwhile, Celebi (IS:CLEBI) added 4.03% or 0.90 points to end at 23.22 and Koza Madencilik (IS:KOZAA) was up 3.63% or 0.070 points to 2.000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Net Turizm (IS:NTTUR), which fell 6.45% or 0.120 points to trade at 1.740 at the close. Kartonsan (IS:KARTN) declined 2.78% or 7.90 points to end at 276.00 and Aksa Enerji (IS:AKSEN) was down 1.89% or 0.060 points to 3.110.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 185 to 149 and 72 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ihlas Holding (IS:IHLAS) rose to 3-years highs; up 10.00% or 0.040 to 0.440.
Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.44% or 5.55 to $1248.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 1.51% or 0.75 to hit $50.26 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 0.97% or 0.51 to trade at $53.05 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.39% to 3.6319, while EUR/TRY fell 0.68% to 3.8994.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 99.99.
