Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Textile & Leather, Electricity and Chemical, Petroleum & Plastic sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 added 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Celebi Hava Servisi AS (IS:CLEBI), which rose 6.86% or 2.14 points to trade at 33.32 at the close. Meanwhile, Yatas Yatak ve Yorgan Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:YATAS) added 4.66% or 0.890 points to end at 19.990 and Trakya Cam Sanayi AS (IS:TRKCM) was up 4.31% or 0.150 points to 3.630 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Halk Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:HLGYO), which fell 1.98% or 0.020 points to trade at 0.990 at the close. Turkiye Halk Bankasi (IS:HALKB) declined 1.94% or 0.24 points to end at 12.12 and Park Elektrik Uretim Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:PRKME) was down 1.86% or 0.080 points to 4.230.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 217 to 127 and 61 ended unchanged.
Shares in Yatas Yatak ve Yorgan Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:YATAS) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.66% or 0.890 to 19.990.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.10% or 1.35 to $1287.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.17% or 0.09 to hit $51.47 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.58% or 0.33 to trade at $56.83 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.02% to 3.5587, while EUR/TRY rose 0.19% to 4.2043.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 92.99.
