Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 9.45% or 2.98 points to trade at 34.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 4.62% or 10.30 points to end at 233.30 and Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was up 0.99% or 0.45 points to 46.12 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 5.49% or 4.50 points to trade at 77.45 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 3.85% or 8.2 points to end at 205.0 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was down 2.85% or 4.40 points to 149.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 362 to 250 and 59 ended unchanged.
Shares in Boliden AB (ST:BOL) rose to 5-year highs; up 4.62% or 10.30 to 233.30.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.63% or 1.14 to $42.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.53% or 1.13 to hit $43.62 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.60% or 7.30 to trade at $1217.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.27% to 9.8348, while USD/SEK rose 0.94% to 9.1755.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.20% at 100.18.
