Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 4.56% or 1.52 points to trade at 34.83 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 1.36% or 3.7 points to end at 276.2 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 1.25% or 2.7 points to 218.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which fell 2.65% or 3.6 points to trade at 132.3 at the close. Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) declined 2.36% or 1.16 points to end at 48.02 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was down 1.63% or 2.30 points to 138.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 308 to 251 and 52 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.53% or 0.67 to $43.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.82% or 0.37 to hit $44.70 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.95% or 11.65 to trade at $1241.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.26% to 9.1642, while USD/SEK fell 0.34% to 8.1281.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 94.69.
