Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs), which rose 6.24% or 9.8 points to trade at 166.8 at the close. Meanwhile, ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 2.43% or 4.3 points to end at 180.9 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 2.30% or 0.63 points to 28.04 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which fell 0.37% or 0.5 points to trade at 133.5 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 0.18% or 0.30 points to end at 162.90 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was down 0.10% or 0.3 points to 306.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 409 to 209 and 41 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.20% or 0.10 to $50.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $51.47 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.58% or 7.25 to trade at $1263.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.06% to 9.6856, while USD/SEK fell 0.02% to 8.8103.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 97.77.
