Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa), which rose 2.67% or 2.15 points to trade at 82.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) added 2.39% or 1.90 points to end at 81.25 and Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) was up 1.85% or 0.89 points to 48.87 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which fell 3.00% or 5.4 points to trade at 174.4 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 1.39% or 1.9 points to end at 134.8 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was down 1.23% or 2.30 points to 184.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 319 to 277 and 52 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.15% or 0.54 to $46.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.46% or 0.72 to hit $48.73 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.50% or 6.65 to trade at $1320.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.52% to 9.5218, while USD/SEK rose 0.84% to 8.5379.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 95.96.
