Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 5.51% or 6.90 points to trade at 132.20 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 2.94% or 0.87 points to end at 30.43 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 1.99% or 3.00 points to 153.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 0.81% or 0.70 points to trade at 85.35 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) declined 0.78% or 0.65 points to end at 82.85 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was down 0.74% or 1.8 points to 240.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 288 to 265 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.35% or 0.55 to $40.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.33% or 0.14 to hit $43.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.13% or 1.40 to trade at $1067.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.14% to 9.3038, while USD/SEK fell 0.03% to 8.7522.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 99.87.
