Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Industrial Investment and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 10.57% or 0.65 points to trade at 6.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 9.57% or 1.00 points to end at 11.45 and Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) was up 8.16% or 1.20 points to 15.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Gypsum Company (SE:2090), which fell 5.80% or 0.85 points to trade at 13.80 at the close. Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) declined 5.00% or 1.60 points to end at 30.40 and Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) was down 3.24% or 0.60 points to 17.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 114 to 41 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.83% or 0.33 to $40.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.79% or 0.33 to hit $42.27 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.74% or 9.20 to trade at $1253.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.09% to 4.2784, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 94.07.
