Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Transport, Energy & Utilities and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 7.64% or 1.65 points to trade at 23.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) added 7.10% or 3.27 points to end at 49.30 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was up 3.69% or 0.60 points to 16.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030), which fell 4.48% or 2.46 points to trade at 52.50 at the close. SABB Takaful (SE:8080) declined 2.67% or 1.32 points to end at 48.20 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) was down 2.18% or 0.67 points to 30.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 109 to 56.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.11% or 0.68 to $60.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.18% or 0.78 to hit $64.72 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.32% or 3.80 to trade at $1190.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.1876, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.02% at 96.02.
