Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Multi Investment and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150), which rose 7.33% or 2.39 points to trade at 35.00 at the close. Meanwhile, The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) added 5.65% or 3.42 points to end at 64.00 and AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) was up 5.45% or 1.10 points to 21.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which fell 9.93% or 1.88 points to trade at 17.05 at the close. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) declined 9.50% or 9.97 points to end at 95.00 and National Industrialization Co (SE:2060) was down 5.59% or 1.41 points to 23.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 106 to 56.
Shares in Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) rose to 52-week highs; up 7.33% or 2.39 to 35.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.38% or 0.22 to $57.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.69% or 0.43 to hit $63.02 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.58% or 7.00 to trade at $1196.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.60% to 4.0284, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 98.06.
