Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Media & Publishing and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which rose 10.00% or 0.350 points to trade at 3.850 at the close. Meanwhile, Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) added 8.98% or 3.60 points to end at 43.70 and ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) was up 7.88% or 3.80 points to 52.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which fell 6.25% or 0.30 points to trade at 4.50 at the close. Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) declined 3.70% or 1.60 points to end at 41.60 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was down 3.10% or 0.45 points to 14.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 74 to 73 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.39% or 0.21 to $54.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.58% or 0.33 to hit $57.13 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.36% or 16.45 to trade at $1224.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.36% to 4.0534, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 99.41.
