Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Energy & Utilities and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250), which rose 3.75% or 1.20 points to trade at 33.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) added 3.48% or 2.40 points to end at 71.30 and Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) was up 2.83% or 1.70 points to 61.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291), which fell 3.90% or 2.60 points to trade at 64.00 at the close. SABIC AgriNutrients Co (SE:2020) declined 3.80% or 7.00 points to end at 177.00 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) was down 3.79% or 2.10 points to 53.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 153 to 44 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.44% or 0.34 to $77.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.47% or 0.38 to hit $80.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 5.35 to trade at $1864.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.15% to 4.2517, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 95.785.
