Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Media & Publishing and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which rose 6.12% or 0.86 points to trade at 14.92 at the close. Meanwhile, Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090) added 3.68% or 0.48 points to end at 13.52 and National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) was up 3.24% or 1.15 points to 36.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which fell 5.99% or 1.60 points to trade at 25.10 at the close. Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) declined 5.21% or 0.78 points to end at 14.18 and United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) was down 4.56% or 1.65 points to 34.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 99 to 64 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.47% or 1.09 to $75.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.29% or 1.00 to hit $78.30 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 9.60 to trade at $1251.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.06% to 4.3672, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7494.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 94.44.
