Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Multi Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which rose 9.90% or 1.23 points to trade at 13.66 at the close. Meanwhile, Methanol Chemicals Company (SE:2001) added 3.80% or 0.34 points to end at 9.29 and Saudi Chemical Company (SE:2230) was up 3.51% or 1.10 points to 32.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110), which fell 9.86% or 2.51 points to trade at 22.94 at the close. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) declined 4.25% or 4.79 points to end at 108.00 and Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) was down 3.85% or 1.84 points to 45.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 111 to 64 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.93% or 0.53 to $57.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.88% or 0.56 to hit $63.90 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1243.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.4009, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 94.08.
