Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Financial Services and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which rose 8.90% or 0.65 points to trade at 7.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) added 3.99% or 1.10 points to end at 28.70 and AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320) was up 3.93% or 0.95 points to 25.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which fell 4.44% or 0.30 points to trade at 6.45 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) declined 4.27% or 0.50 points to end at 11.20 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) was down 4.17% or 2.25 points to 51.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 38 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.47% or 0.95 to $39.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.44% or 0.58 to hit $40.91 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 3.15% or 38.70 to trade at $1268.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.78% to 4.2434, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.84% at 94.90.
