Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Energy & Utilities and Multi Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which rose 10.00% or 1.45 points to trade at 15.95 at the close. Meanwhile, BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) added 9.68% or 1.50 points to end at 17.00 and Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350) was up 9.09% or 0.50 points to 6.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360), which fell 2.85% or 1.75 points to trade at 59.75 at the close. Saudi Telecom (SE:7010) declined 2.31% or 1.25 points to end at 52.75 and Jarir Marketing Co (SE:4190) was down 2.09% or 1.75 points to 82.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 120 to 32 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Telecom (SE:7010) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.31% or 1.25 to 52.75. Shares in Jarir Marketing Co (SE:4190) fell to 5-year lows; losing 2.09% or 1.75 to 82.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.97% or 0.96 to $49.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.83% or 0.93 to hit $51.80 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.26% or 3.35 to trade at $1273.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.02% to 4.2047, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 96.09.
