Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financial Services, Energy & Utilities and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.04% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which rose 7.27% or 1.05 points to trade at 15.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 6.67% or 0.60 points to end at 9.60 and United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301) was up 4.95% or 1.00 points to 21.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180), which fell 9.66% or 2.80 points to trade at 26.20 at the close. Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) declined 4.95% or 0.70 points to end at 13.45 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was down 3.82% or 0.30 points to 7.55.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 78 to 71 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.26% or 0.11 to $41.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.29% or 0.13 to hit $44.31 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.97% or 12.10 to trade at $1236.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.00% to 4.2285, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.02% at 94.83.
