Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Media & Publishing and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which rose 10.40% or 1.05 points to trade at 11.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) added 9.47% or 0.80 points to end at 9.25 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) was up 4.96% or 1.30 points to 27.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which fell 7.28% or 1.52 points to trade at 19.35 at the close. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) declined 2.59% or 0.70 points to end at 26.30 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) was down 1.96% or 2.25 points to 112.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 117 to 36 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.82% or 0.40 to $49.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.77% or 0.40 to hit $52.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.74 to trade at $1234.74 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.91% to 4.1541, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.62% at 98.20.
