Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Transport and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which rose 10.17% or 0.60 points to trade at 6.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 9.68% or 0.60 points to end at 6.80 and Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) was up 6.13% or 0.50 points to 8.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which fell 3.14% or 0.40 points to trade at 12.35 at the close. Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) declined 2.59% or 0.35 points to end at 13.15 and Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) was down 1.79% or 1.00 points to 55.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 44 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.61% or 0.31 to $50.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.57% or 0.30 to hit $52.11 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.75 to trade at $1257.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.36% to 4.1317, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 97.92.
