Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Agriculture & Food and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which rose 9.90% or 5.29 points to trade at 58.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) added 9.85% or 9.75 points to end at 108.75 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) was up 5.79% or 4.49 points to 82.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which fell 2.83% or 2.07 points to trade at 71.00 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) declined 2.50% or 0.69 points to end at 26.90 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) was down 2.41% or 1.08 points to 43.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 63.
Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.85% or 9.75 to 108.75.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.81% or 0.49 to $59.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.45% or 0.28 to hit $63.20 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1172.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.01% to 4.2019, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 95.40.
