Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Transport, Hotels & Tourism and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180), which rose 9.69% or 2.43 points to trade at 27.50 at the close. Meanwhile, The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030) added 6.07% or 3.06 points to end at 53.50 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) was up 4.92% or 2.73 points to 58.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SE:6004), which fell 2.56% or 4.40 points to trade at 167.75 at the close. Savola Group (SE:2050) declined 1.98% or 1.50 points to end at 74.25 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) was down 1.78% or 1.02 points to 56.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 113 to 52.
Shares in Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180) rose to 3-years highs; up 9.69% or 2.43 to 27.50. Shares in The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030) rose to 5-year highs; up 6.07% or 3.06 to 53.50.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.81% or 1.07 to $60.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.25% or 0.81 to hit $65.84 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.41% or 4.90 to trade at $1203.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.26% to 4.1713, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.26% at 95.41.
