Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Building & Construction and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190), which rose 9.96% or 1.15 points to trade at 12.70 at the close. Meanwhile, United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301) added 9.64% or 2.40 points to end at 27.30 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) was up 6.42% or 2.60 points to 43.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 3.21% or 0.35 points to trade at 10.55 at the close. The Qassim Cement Co (SE:3040) declined 2.69% or 1.75 points to end at 63.25 and Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) was down 1.47% or 0.75 points to 50.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 115 to 33 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $46.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.29% or 0.61 to hit $47.98 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.43% or 5.70 to trade at $1337.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.80% to 4.1375, while USD/SAR rose 0.04% to 3.7521.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 96.70.
