Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Petrochemicals and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220), which rose 4.63% or 0.75 points to trade at 16.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) added 4.37% or 1.00 points to end at 23.90 and Anb Insurance (SE:8011) was up 4.09% or 0.90 points to 22.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which fell 5.71% or 0.40 points to trade at 6.60 at the close. Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007) declined 2.64% or 1.20 points to end at 44.30 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) was down 2.55% or 0.20 points to 7.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 77 to 72 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $48.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.16% or 0.08 to hit $51.60 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 1.52 to trade at $1253.98 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.10% to 4.0915, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 98.96.
