Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financial Services, Hotels & Tourism and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291), which rose 9.94% or 4.20 points to trade at 46.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) added 4.69% or 1.40 points to end at 31.25 and Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) was up 4.16% or 0.36 points to 9.01 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Savola Group (SE:2050), which fell 3.12% or 1.40 points to trade at 43.50 at the close. National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) declined 2.43% or 0.70 points to end at 28.15 and Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) was down 2.14% or 0.75 points to 34.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 95 to 88 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291) rose to all time highs; up 9.94% or 4.20 to 46.45.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.32% or 0.50 to $38.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.36% or 0.55 to hit $40.86 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 8.85 to trade at $1766.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.19% to 4.2118, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 97.332.
