Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 fell 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA), which rose 6.19% or 0.0180 points to trade at 0.3090 at the close. Meanwhile, Semapa (LS:SEM) added 2.13% or 0.2750 points to end at 13.1900 and Banco BPI (LS:BBPI) was up 1.63% or 0.0180 points to 1.1240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP), which fell 9.46% or 0.0164 points to trade at 0.1570 at the close. CTT Correios de Portugal SA (LS:CTT) declined 1.60% or 0.0800 points to end at 4.9200 and Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) was down 1.19% or 0.1650 points to 13.6700.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 18 to 15 and 9 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for April delivery was down 1.69% or 0.94 to $54.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 2.11% or 1.12 to hit $51.89 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.45 to trade at $1236.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.45% to 1.0700, while EUR/GBP fell 0.64% to 0.8565.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 100.22.
