Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 rose 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Sonae (LS:YSO), which rose 5.52% or 0.0620 points to trade at 1.1860 at the close. Meanwhile, Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) added 2.49% or 0.0900 points to end at 3.7000 and Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) was up 1.40% or 0.0130 points to 0.9440 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ibersol SGPS (LS:IBS), which fell 2.14% or 0.250 points to trade at 11.450 at the close. The Navigator Company SA (LS:NVGR) declined 0.26% or 0.0120 points to end at 4.5840 and REN (LS:RENE) was down 0.16% or 0.0040 points to 2.4760.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 18 to 14 and 6 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was up 0.55% or 0.36 to $65.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.61% or 0.37 to hit $61.33 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 6.80 to trade at $1318.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.34% to 1.2325, while EUR/GBP fell 0.32% to 0.8830.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 89.99.
