Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Auto & components, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Media sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG), which rose 1.37% or 1.80 points to trade at 133.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) added 0.73% or 0.55 points to end at 76.08 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 0.38% or 0.01 points to 1.33 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG), which fell 8.96% or 2.51 points to trade at 25.49 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 5.14% or 1.60 points to end at 29.50 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 3.68% or 0.70 points to 18.34.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 111 to 54 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) fell to all time lows; down 8.96% or 2.51 to 25.49.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.41% or 0.19 to $46.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.59% or 0.29 to hit $49.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.55 to trade at $1325.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.15% to 9.2730, while USD/NOK rose 0.09% to 8.2271.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 94.78.
