Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Diversified Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 3.78% or 13.5 points to trade at 370.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) added 2.06% or 0.63 points to end at 31.19 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 1.29% or 1.60 points to 125.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE), which fell 5.31% or 1.7 points to trade at 30.3 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 4.81% or 1.6 points to end at 31.7 and Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) was down 3.64% or 0.4 points to 10.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 90 to 77 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.49% or 1.49 to $44.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.27% or 1.45 to hit $45.77 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.26% or 3.25 to trade at $1243.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.38% to 9.2118, while USD/NOK fell 0.77% to 8.1428.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.39% at 94.37.
