Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as in the sectors led shares .
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares unchanged 0.00% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA), which rose 8.54% or 1.88 points to trade at 23.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Snep (CS:SNP) added 4.08% or 3.29 points to end at 83.84 and BMCI (CS:BMCI) was up 3.28% or 20 points to 630 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jet Contractors (CS:JET), which fell 7.64% or 12.00 points to trade at 145.00 at the close. Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) declined 5.99% or 9.35 points to end at 146.65 and Nexans Maroc (CS:NEX) was down 5.87% or 8.80 points to 141.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 24 to 14 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jet Contractors (CS:JET) fell to all time lows; down 7.64% or 12.00 to 145.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.81% or 0.35 to $42.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.97% or 0.44 to hit $44.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.35% or 4.75 to trade at $1346.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.08% to 10.8820, while USD/MAD fell 0.10% to 9.8017.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 96.16.
