Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Telecoms and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Alliances (CS:ADI), which rose 7.11% or 14 points to trade at 218 at the close. Meanwhile, Douja Prom Addoha (CS:ADH) added 6.21% or 2.05 points to end at 35.05 and Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO) was up 5.93% or 83 points to 1483 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saham Assurance (CS:SAH), which fell 5.50% or 85 points to trade at 1460 at the close. Hps (CS:HPS) declined 4.65% or 78.00 points to end at 1601.00 and Colorado (CS:COL) was down 4.06% or 3.33 points to 78.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 19 to 16 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.23% or 0.14 to $60.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.63% or 0.42 to hit $66.45 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.80 to trade at $1313.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.19% to 11.2400, while USD/MAD fell 0.24% to 9.3237.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 91.59.
