Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Insurance, Financials and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which rose 2.78% or 730 points to trade at 26970 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) added 2.27% or 197 points to end at 8886 and Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) was up 1.71% or 1.2 points to 71.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which fell 7.52% or 1540.0 points to trade at 18950.0 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 7.29% or 189 points to end at 2405 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was down 2.97% or 630 points to 20590.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 224 to 177 and 100 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.03% or 1.39 to $47.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.73% or 1.33 to hit $50.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 5.55 to trade at $1221.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.02% to 3.6080, while EUR/ILS fell 0.04% to 3.9212.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 99.44.
