Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which rose 3.57% or 2800 points to trade at 81300 at the close. Meanwhile, Avner L (TA:AVNRp) added 2.49% or 5.8 points to end at 239.1 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 2.00% or 25 points to 1278 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which fell 2.18% or 187 points to trade at 8401 at the close. Cellcom (TA:CEL) declined 1.36% or 53 points to end at 3850 and BIG (TA:BIG) was down 1.02% or 270 points to 26180.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 215 to 168 and 58 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.94% or 0.50 to $53.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.10% or 0.61 to hit $56.20 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1224.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.7502, while EUR/ILS fell 0.39% to 3.9619.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 101.36.
