Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which rose 2.03% or 320 points to trade at 16110 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) added 0.99% or 310 points to end at 31640 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was up 0.74% or 35 points to 4792 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which fell 1.62% or 240 points to trade at 14570 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 1.60% or 60 points to end at 3680 and Nice (TA:NICE) was down 1.31% or 300 points to 22660.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 184 to 137 and 127 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.17% or 0.52 to $44.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.53% or 0.26 to hit $47.73 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.32% or 3.70 to trade at $1166.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.39% to 3.8797, while EUR/ILS fell 0.14% to 4.2874.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.31% at 96.88.
