Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Oil & Gas and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.06% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Gazit Globe (TA:GZT), which rose 2.51% or 86 points to trade at 3510 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice (TA:NICE) added 2.26% or 550 points to end at 24860 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 1.61% or 60 points to 3780 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which fell 3.93% or 2690 points to trade at 65700 at the close. Leumi (TA:LUMI) declined 1.73% or 24 points to end at 1361 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was down 1.51% or 25 points to 1630.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 163 to 160 and 124 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.71% or 1.25 to $47.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.40% or 1.15 to hit $48.98 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.23% or 2.95 to trade at $1275.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.74% to 3.8142, while EUR/ILS rose 1.02% to 4.3232.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.17% at 94.44.
