Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Banking and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL), which rose 1.27% or 2.4 points to trade at 191.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) added 0.99% or 0.4 points to end at 41.0 and Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT) was up 0.84% or 16 points to 1917 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 4.64% or 101 points to trade at 2075 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 4.19% or 71 points to end at 1624 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was down 3.24% or 88 points to 2627.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 239 to 150 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.44% or 0.31 to $70.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $78.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 9.20 to trade at $1197.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.22% to 3.6208, while EUR/ILS fell 0.34% to 4.1838.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 95.52.
