Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Biomed and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 7.46% or 3740 points to trade at 53890 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 3.65% or 92 points to end at 2614 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 2.04% or 79 points to 3950 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 3.55% or 410 points to trade at 11150 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 2.59% or 1050 points to end at 39540 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was down 2.10% or 41 points to 1914.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 320 to 178 and 28 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.85% or 1.32 to $69.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.90% or 1.41 to hit $72.98 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 15.05 to trade at $1773.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.90% to 3.1392, while EUR/ILS rose 0.79% to 3.5383.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 96.455.
