Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.87%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Avner L (TA:AVNRp), which rose 4.64% or 11.0 points to trade at 248.0 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 4.62% or 183 points to end at 4147 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 4.61% or 3230 points to 73230 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which fell 2.60% or 42 points to trade at 1573 at the close. Frutarom (TA:FRUT) declined 1.40% or 270 points to end at 18960 and Nice (TA:NICE) was down 0.72% or 180 points to 24980.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 218 to 118 and 110 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.51% or 0.25 to $48.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.03% or 0.50 to hit $49.11 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.65% or 8.05 to trade at $1221.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.12% to 3.8476, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 4.2880.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 95.50.
