Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which rose 3.12% or 500 points to trade at 16550 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TA:MLSR) added 3.11% or 450 points to end at 14940 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 2.84% or 154 points to 5573 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which fell 1.23% or 1300 points to trade at 104800 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TA:KEN) declined 1.02% or 86.00 points to end at 8378.00 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was down 0.37% or 7 points to 1893.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 216 to 133 and 106 ended unchanged.
Shares in Frutarom (TA:FRUT) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.12% or 500 to 16550.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.86% or 0.51 to $58.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.62% or 0.41 to hit $66.05 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.39% or 16.30 to trade at $1190.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.02% to 3.8840, while EUR/ILS fell 0.33% to 4.3358.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 95.52.
