Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which rose 4.83% or 730 points to trade at 15830 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TA:MLSR) added 2.82% or 370 points to end at 13500 and Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) was up 2.03% or 590 points to 29640 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which fell 2.79% or 3200 points to trade at 111300 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) declined 2.28% or 330 points to end at 14120 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was down 1.65% or 28 points to 1670.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 194 to 126 and 132 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.75% or 0.44 to $58.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.64% or 1.01 to hit $63.02 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.81% or 9.60 to trade at $1169.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.7726, while EUR/ILS fell 0.90% to 4.2048.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 95.67.
